Drama Geeks Improv Event this FRIDAY

The Drama Geeks will be hosting an Improv Event this Friday, Dec. 13th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. The event is bringing previous Campbell Theatre alumni back to compete against a group of current improv students to raise money and awareness for Georgia Ovarian Cancer Research and Awareness. Tickets are $10.00 and $5.00 of every ticket sold will be given to Georgia Ovarian Cancer Institute. We hope that this will become an annual event. Please plan to attend. Financial Aid Night TONIGHT!

Spartan Soccer Seeks Team Managers

Attention Students:

Freshman Boys Defeat Harrison!

Congratulations Spartans!
The Freshman Boys Basketball team defeated Harrison 41-38 last night. Octavia's Dollar led the scoring with 11 points. Zurich Ware added 10 to the winning effort. Thank you to the cheerleaders and fans who supported the team.

13th Annual Coffeehouse Talent Show

The 13th annual Coffeehouse all-school talent show will take place on Friday, December 6 at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.

CHS Band's Annual Holiday Spectacular

Campbell High School Band presents "Holiday Spectacular!"
On Thursday, December 5, ring in the holiday season by attending Campbell Bands' holiday concert in Livingston Auditorium here at school. The program will feature Campbell High School's three concert bands, two percussion ensembles, brass ensemble, and various solo performances. This is a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased online at www.campbellbands.org or by visiting our table during every lunch block this week.
Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the door.
Concessions will be available!

Congratulations to the Campbell Wrestling Team!

The wrestling team kicked off the season with two victories last night defeating South Cobb
48-30 and Westlake 60-12. The team was led by Seniors: Juwan Lawson, Sid Robertson, and
Gaiyon Reavish who combined to go 8-0 with 7 pins and Sophomore, Jordan Johnson who
went 2-0 with 2 pins.

Congrats Varsity Math Team!

Congratulations to the Campbell Varsity Math Team for taking third place in the county tournament at Sprayberry High School. Among the top ten, Ben Chen came in second place, and Michael Peng came in ninth place. Go Spartans!

Annual Talent Show Friday, December 6th!

"Coffee House", the annual all-school talent show , is going to be held Friday, December 6 at 7:00.
 
Good news! We have room for some additional acts so this is your chance!!
Tryouts are after school on Thursday, November 22 in the Drama Room.
Sign up sheets are outside the Drama Room and posted on the wall outside of room 2207.

EOCT Testing

EOCT Testing will be December 3rd through the 13th.
If you are participating in an EOCT, attendance is mandatory.
An excused absence is required in order to make-up the EOCT.
During EOCT’s, Electronic devices are not allowed in the testing environment. Possession or
improper use of such devices may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the system's
student code of conduct and/or test invalidation.

Congratulations Spartan Swim Team!

The Spartan Swim Team had a successful weekend at the Cobb Time Trials and Relays this past weekend.
The Boys 400 Free Relay (Dalton Isley, Kyle Ganeriwal, Micah Hayden, and Cody Kanter) and the Girls 200 Free Relay (Mia Price, Maya Hughes, Cydney Abel, and Sydney Reynolds) qualified for the State Championship Meet!
Cody Kanter also qualified for State in the 100 Freestyle.

The Spartans and Lady Spartans also qualified a strong contingency this past weekend for the County Championship Meet with Sydney Reynolds, Maya Hughes, Mia Price, Cydney Abel, Alexandria Cross, Cody Kanter, Micah Hayden, Jaco Janse Van Rensburg, Dalton Isley, Kyle Ganeriwal, and Ben Kirk.

Please come support your Spartan Swim and Dive Team this Saturday as they take on county rivals McEachern, Kell, and North Cobb!  The upcoming Meet will be held at the Cobb Aquatic Center and will begin at 3pm.  Admission is $5.00.

Princeton Review SAT Prep Class


The Princeton Review will offer a discounted SAT preparation class next spring at CHS. The class will run from March 1 to April 28. Congratulations to Austin Green and Imani Willis.
Both student athletes have accepted Athletic Scholarship offers in Baseball. Austin Green has accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Jacksonville State University and Imani Willis has accepted a scholarship to play baseball at Austin Peay University.

Congrats Spartan Swim & Dive!

Congratulations to the Spartan Swim and Dive Team as they opened their season last weekend by qualifying many athletes to the State and County Championships to be held next semester.

For the boys Team: Micah Hayden, Cody Kanter, Jaco Janse Van Rensburg, Devin Alexander, Kyle Ganeriwal, David Bullock, and Dalton Isley all qualified for the County Championships Meet.

For the girls Team: Sydney Reynolds, Mia Price, Delanie Turner, and Addie Howser all qualified for the County Championships Meet.

Additionally, David Bullock qualified for the State Championships Meet in Diving and the boys 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relays led by Cody Kanter, Devin Alexander, Jaco Janse Van Rensburg, and Dalton Isley aslo qualified for the State Championships Meet.

Congratulations Spartan swimmers and divers.

Mandatory Soccer Parents Meeting

Attention Parents: There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all players interested in boys or girls soccer on Friday, Nov. 15 beginning at 7pm in the cafeteria. If your parent is unable to attend the meeting, please see Coach Lynch or Coach Sandifer, however, it is strongly encouraged that parents attend the meeting.
