ATTENTION CHS Parents:

We're using VolunteerSpot to organize 9th Grade Orientation, Staff Lunch and Cruise to Success for 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Event is onThursday, July 31st. Volunteers are needed at various times during the day.

Campbell Shout Outs!

We have lots to be proud of today at Campbell High School!  We would like to send a big SHOUT OUT to the following for outstanding representation of Campbell High School!

~The Spartan Swim and Dive Team had outstanding results at the Cobb Championship Meet this past weekend!
For Diving:
Addie Howser took 4th place, Dalton Isley took 6th, and David Bullock (who was very sick) took 4th, set a new school record and had an All American score!
For Swimming:
Cody Kanter, Dalton Isley, Mia Price, Sydney Reynolds, and Alex Cross all made finals in the Meet for individual events!
The boys 200 Medley Relay swam by Cody Kanter, Devin Alexander, Dalton Isley, and Jaco Janse Van Rensburg tied the school record.
The girls 200 Medley Relay swam by Maya Hughes, Mia Price, Savannah Sheats, and Sydney Reynolds set a new school record.
The girls 200 Free Relay swam by Mia Price, Catherine Garmong, Maya Hughes, and Sydney Reynolds set a new school record.
The girls 400 Free Relay swam by Sydney Reynolds, Savananh Sheats, Maya Hughes, and Mia Price not only set a new school record at Friday's Prelims but smashed their own record at Saturday's finals!
Come support your Spartans at the Relay Meet this Saturday, February 1st at Mountainview Aquatic Center.
Congrats Campbell Swim & Dive!!


~The boys varsity basketball team recorded a big upset victory on Friday night at Marietta 57-49. Laz Walker led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Dom Klein with 15 and Mike Olmert continued his fine play with 12 points and 2 steals, Jequan Ward added 3 steals and 5 assists.  Way to go Spartans!

~Congratulations goes to the Campbell HS JROTC Drill Team/Color Guard in their 1st meet of the season at Jackson County High School in Jefferson, Georgia in the following events:
Unarmed Knockout – Devin Bradberry – 3rd Place
Female Color Guard commanded by Isela Yanez – 3rd Place
Female Unarmed Squad commanded by Audriana Lyons – 3rd Place
Male Armed Squad commanded by Chris Williams – 3rd Place

SAT Prep Class - Register TODAY!

ARE YOU READY FOR THE SAT?
CHS and the PTSA want you to do the best that you can do on the SAT!!

CHS PTSA is offering a four week SAT prep class for the March 8th SAT.
Cost of this class is $125.00

Classes will be on Saturdays from 9am till 1pm
Class dates: Feb 1st, Feb 8th, Feb 22nd and March 1st (no class on Feb 15th because of school break)
SAT is on March 8th at Campbell High School, you must register online for the test by Feb 7th.

Varsity Men's Basketball

Congrats to our Varsity Men's Basketball Team!
They had a very successful holiday break winning 5 out of 6
games in addition to the championship of the Campbell Holiday Tournament.
They defeated a very tough Wilson HS team from Wash. D.C. in the title game 75-74 in double overtime!
Outstanding performances by Laz Walker and Mike Olmert.
The next games are at home this Friday against Hillgrove and Sat. against Walton. Both are state ranked. Come cheer on the Spartans!

~The Freshman Boy’s Basketball Team defeated North Cobb 43-28 on Friday.
~Our Junior Varsity Boy’s Basketball Team defeated North Cobb 43-41 on Friday.
~Congratulations to the wrestling team for their 5th place finish at Area Duals over the weekend.
~Congratulations to Mike Rogers for being named the Marietta Daily Journal Player of the Year and Georgia Sportswriters Offenisve Player of the Year.
~Congratulations to Marlon Horne and Dekevion Byrd for being named Marietta Daily Journal All State Team.
~Congratulations to Alexis Jones and Isiah Rogers for their performances at the Alumni Invitational Track Meet in Birmingham , Alabama.

The Counseling Office is in need of help this week with new student registration. They are extremely busy and need a few volunteers to help out!
