Campbell Shout Outs!

We have lots to be proud of today at Campbell High School!  We would like to send a big SHOUT OUT to the following for outstanding representation of Campbell High School!

~The Spartan Swim and Dive Team had outstanding results at the Cobb Championship Meet this past weekend!
For Diving:
Addie Howser took 4th place, Dalton Isley took 6th, and David Bullock (who was very sick) took 4th, set a new school record and had an All American score!
For Swimming:
Cody Kanter, Dalton Isley, Mia Price, Sydney Reynolds, and Alex Cross all made finals in the Meet for individual events!
The boys 200 Medley Relay swam by Cody Kanter, Devin Alexander, Dalton Isley, and Jaco Janse Van Rensburg tied the school record.
The girls 200 Medley Relay swam by Maya Hughes, Mia Price, Savannah Sheats, and Sydney Reynolds set a new school record.
The girls 200 Free Relay swam by Mia Price, Catherine Garmong, Maya Hughes, and Sydney Reynolds set a new school record.
The girls 400 Free Relay swam by Sydney Reynolds, Savananh Sheats, Maya Hughes, and Mia Price not only set a new school record at Friday's Prelims but smashed their own record at Saturday's finals!
Come support your Spartans at the Relay Meet this Saturday, February 1st at Mountainview Aquatic Center.
Congrats Campbell Swim & Dive!!


~The boys varsity basketball team recorded a big upset victory on Friday night at Marietta 57-49. Laz Walker led the scoring with 18 points, followed by Dom Klein with 15 and Mike Olmert continued his fine play with 12 points and 2 steals, Jequan Ward added 3 steals and 5 assists.  Way to go Spartans!

~Congratulations goes to the Campbell HS JROTC Drill Team/Color Guard in their 1st meet of the season at Jackson County High School in Jefferson, Georgia in the following events:
Unarmed Knockout – Devin Bradberry – 3rd Place
Female Color Guard commanded by Isela Yanez – 3rd Place
Female Unarmed Squad commanded by Audriana Lyons – 3rd Place
Male Armed Squad commanded by Chris Williams – 3rd Place
Male Unarmed Platoon commanded by Brandon Daniels – 2nd Place
Male Armed Platoon commanded by Dray Cathey – 2nd Place
Female Unarmed Platoon commanded by Abbey Sandoval – 2nd Place
Female Armed Platoon commanded by Tabitha Gamache – 2nd Place
Female Armed Squad commanded by Tabitha Gamache – 2nd Place
Male Unarmed Squad commanded by Deonte Compton – 1st Place
The team placed 2nd overall, your dedication and commitment always represents Campbell High School as a school of excellence, you continue to always make us proud!
